This volume appears in conjunction with an eponymous exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art of Bologna and comprises a collection of writings that address the topics of loop, repetition, and cyclicity in the contemporary world. The loop is a concept that has moved from modernism to postmodernism, in the process expanding its meaning, and continues in today's digital world. A number of contemporary artists and thinkers contribute their views on this topic, providing fragments, stories, and new perspectives. As yet unpublished texts by Federico Campagna and Elizabeth Povinelli also question our current idea of time and the forms of knowledge and power that derive from it.
