Michel Quarez - Un Cahier

This book is a facsimile of a sketchbook by Michel Quarez (1938-2021). Graphic designer and painter, he never stopped placing colour at the heart of these two practices which, for him, were one and the same. His countless notebooks were as much spaces for research as for imagination. They attest the power of the figures and signs that fuelled the posters that Quarez designed for decades, and which are now part of the history of graphic design.
