Daido Moriyama - Record No.17

Moriyama, a major figure in 20th and 21st century Japanese photography, continues the personal journey of his 'Record' series. No. 17 features full-colour photographs taken in high summer on Moriyama's customary urban rambles, this time on the streets of Sapporo and Ishikari-Kako, where youth, sex and garish consumerism contrast with hidden corners of desertion, dilapidated buildings and weed-filled gardens.
