A story about a boy who makes boats and is content except for one thing, he is a afraid of the dark. More than 20 new black-and-white illustrations by Peake form a perfect bedtime narrative that tells how the boy wanders into the forest and is subsequently able to overcome his fear. A move to Lausanne, the Swiss city on the shores of Lake Geneva, proved to be the catalyst for Irish artist Nigel Peake's new series of 26 pen drawings exhibited at Colette in Paris and now published in this elegant and thoughtful Children's book.
