The project titled 'At Mirrored River' was inspired by the Gaelic word Teannalach, a Gaelic word used in the West of Ireland which means awareness. In particular, it is awareness of that which is intangible and hushed; of being aware of the quietness and presence of people, places and nature. With this in mind, Enda Bowe sought to capture the teannalach of stories and dreams within a singular town. The respected Scottish poet John Glenday has also contributed a beautiful poem which will be used as the introduction to the book. Award winning playwright and author Lucy Caldwell has contributed a new short story. The extra contributions stand on their own as independent pieces within the book, but resonate within the notes of the work.
