Martin Assig - Die Grossen ( St. Paul )

In his internationally acclaimed series St. Paul-an ongoing project consisting of some 800 works on paper to date-Martin Assig draws upon his characteristic elements: contorted bodies, geometric schemata, and written lines, making subtle references to votive painting, Goya, and Klee. This volume entitled "The Big Ones" features the large-size works of his St. Paul series.
