Time Of Uncertainty - A Chronicle Of Architecture Vol 2 2000-2006

Luis Fernandez-Galiano presents a selection of articles that he wrote between 1993 and 2006 for El Pais, whose weekly architecture page he was in charge of during those years. Jointly titled Alexandrine Years, evoking both their chronological scope and their chronicle nature, the two volumes of 512 pages apiece portray the vicissitudes of architecture in the course of the transition from the 20th century to the 21st. The opening years of the current century are encompassed in the second volume, 'Time of Uncertainty', which reflects the unrest following 11 September, as well as the sense of fragility produced by military conflicts and climate change.
