Bruno Munari - Il Disegno, Il Design

This volume presents all of the materials donated by the famed Italian artist and designer Bruno Munari to the Archive of Communication (CSAC) at the University of Parma. Thirty years after the first exhibition of this material was held, the entire benefaction is now published with new classifications and studies, accompanied by two historical essays testifying to the enduring ties between Munari and the CSAC. In particular this large publication showcases the incredible variety of the graphic designs he donated, paying homage to his free experimentation and the way his works use signs and symbols to touch on unusual, often profoundly innovative forms of communication.
