Highly topical, C3 has chosen to headline this edition with a survey of six sustainable projects. This includes; the World Wildlife Fund's Head Office in the Netherlands by RAU; Irisarri+Pinera's Galician Architects Central Office, Vigo; and, the North Carlton Green House, Melbourne by Zen Architects. Also, four projects by the Brazilian architectural office of Mareines + Patalano are examined along with a handful of diverse projects by a collection of international architects. These include: Zaha Hadid's MAXXI_National Museum of XXI Century Arts, Rome; Toyo Ito's White O, Chile; Veronica Arcos's 'Casadetodos,' Santiago de Chile; and Rex/OMA's Dee and Charles Wyly Theatre in Dallas, USA. All works and projects are introduced by short texts and accompanied by colour photographs, plans, and elevations.
