Lorenza Sannai - Beyond Measure

In Lorenza Sannai's works, particular attention is given to the direction of the brushstroke, to how the painted surface, streaked by the bristles of the brush, responds to the direction of the light. Her works express a sensibility that subliminally senses the sound of transformations, a music which can be perceived by the eye: Sannai's paintings are colour splinters which escape rational organization and seek a dialogue with the artist's emotions, revealing the multiple possibilities of existence, beyond the measure of geometry.
