The Biennial of Illustrations Bratislava (BIB) is the world's largest picture book original illustration competition, held every two years in Bratislava, the capital of the Slovak Republic. This exhibition catalogue introduces the award-winning works selected for the 28th exhibition in 2021, as well as the recent rise of picture books in Asian countries and their backgrounds, with a particular focus on Japan and South Korea, which have been remarkably active, along with original drawings and documents.
