The Nordic Countries Pavilion Venice Biennale will be turned into a dragon ship filled with mythological water creatures in search of their roots. In collaboration with the Moderna Museet, Stockholm, Lap-See Lam, Kholod Hawash (Finland) and composer Tze Yeung Ho (Norway) will be presenting "The Altersea Opera": an experimental opera, an audio-visual adventure about being in a state of loss and longing, the mutability of myth and connecting through multilingualism. In dreamlike images by photographer Mai Nestor, the readers of this book will follow the preparations of the project, before the "ship" lands in Venice.
