White Cube Companion (2024)

Companion, White Cube gallery's annual reader, is a compilation of contemporary art and discourse. Visual essays, in-conversations, lectures, poetry, artist writings and newly commissioned texts are just some of the forms of creative expression and scholarship brought together in a single volume. Highlights include polemical artist writing from the archive of Richard Hunt; a first-time translation of Takis in conversation with Felix Guattari; research notes and personal reflections by Tiona Nekkia McClodden; newly commissioned writing on Etel Adnan by Quinn Latimer and Christian Marclay by Briony Fer; a close reading on a lesser known Jackson Pollock work by the late David Anfam; and visual essays by Sergej Jensen, Danica Lundy, TARWUK and Danh Vo that, each in their own way, recontextualise artistic practice.
