Mikiya Takimoto - Priere

'Priere' consists of a series of photographs of space alternating with earthly images. What is different about these experiments, which photographer Mikiya Takimoto began to undertake due to the global pandemic, is his re-examination of familiar landscapes as "intimate" environments that he himself also inhabits. During the pandemic, he had no choice but to make use of the equipment he already had within his limited sphere of activity, capturing these everyday scenes with a small camera. This adaptation has also produced a lasting change in Takimoto's work. This book is therefore a collection of works that documents this process of profound transformation as a photographer.
