'Marzia Migliora. Seven Imaginative Exhibitions 1993-2024' is the artist's first monograph. Conceived as a concept book, it reinterprets her body of work through seven recurring themes, presented as exhibitions on paper. Each exhibition is curated by a different curator and set in a location significant to Migliora's life, creating a personal emotional geography across Italy - from her birthplace, Alessandria, to Sicily's salt mines. The themes explored include rurality, museums as sites of classification, perception and viewing devices, community-building, extractivism, patriarchal oppression, and interspecies metamorphosis between life and death.
