Time of Uncertainty - Chronicles of the Crisis 2014-2020

'Chronicles of the Crisis' presents a selection of texts written between 1976 and 2020. Following on previous manifestations, this second of two new volumes spans a period of geopolitical mutations - Crimea's annexation, the rise of populism with Brexit and Trump's election - right up to the pandemic that paralysed the world in 2020. It draws from 'AV Monographs' and 'Arquitectura Viva', the sister magazines that editor Luis Fernandez-Galiano has helmed since their creation in 1985. Chronicles of architecture, but also records of the past half-century in Spain and the world at large, where the articles are a testimony of these hope-filled, brilliant, and tumultuous years.
