The first monograph by Japanese architect Suzuko Yamada covers all 37 projects, from her master's project - the starting point of her career - to her latest work. Alongside descriptions of each project and six essays, the volume features dialogues with architect Ryue Nishizawa, primatologist Juichi Yamagiwa, and structural engineer Mitsuhiro Kanada, as well as a correspondence with fala, a Portuguese architectural firm. Born in Tokyo, Suzuko Yamada studied landscape design and worked as a designer at Sou Fujimoto Architects. She later entered graduate school at Tokyo University of the Arts and subsequently began her independent architectural practice.
