Small Ritual Landscapes

Small Ritual Landscapes is both a book and an exhibition, presenting eleven ceramic landscapes created by Aldo Cibic after his first encounter with ceramic culture in Jingdezhen. During his stay, Cibic explored techniques based on assembling ceramic slabs into geometric forms and using richly colored clay bodies, expanding the expressive possibilities of the medium. The resulting works resemble architectural fragments rather than complete objects, forming what Cibic describes as a "charming little family" of distinct characters and colors. Combining design research with poetic observation, the project evokes moments of domestic wonder and unexpected harmony.
