'Field to Form' is the first comprehensive overview of Irene Kopelman's expansive practice, bringing together a wealth of documentation on seventeen projects that the artist, in close collaboration with researchers, scientists, and other specialists, has developed over the last 25 years. The book features a conversation between the artist and Susana Gonzalez, director at Centro de Arte Fundacion Maria Jose Jove, where Kopelman had a residency and exhibition in 2023, as well as contributions by former MAMAC director Helene Guenin, William T. Wcislo of the Smithsonian Tropical Institute, curator and art critic Adrienne Samos, and Spanish curator Agustin Perez Rubio.
