A selection of 200 works on paper bears witness to the and rarefied marks of the artist, who had reached what he described as the great old age of his life. Edited by Andrea Bellini and Hans Ulrich Obrist, the book includes a conversation recounting their encounter with the artist and analyzing the drawings. An essay by Carla Subrizi frames the work, situating it within a practice. A dialogue between Baruchello and Subrizi offers clues to the drawings' genesis and ways of engaging with them. A sequence of black and white drawings traces images dissolving into lines and brief annotations.
