Built With/In - Complexity and Contradictions in Reuse

Today, the relationship between the new and the pre-existing has become an unavoidable condition of architectural practice. Regeneration and adaptive reuse extend beyond preservation, reconnecting architecture, urbanism, landscape, and environment through the reinterpretation of inherited spaces and twentieth-century heritage.
