Japanese Music Poster Scrap - Pop - City AOR Island Music Fusion

Following the volumes dedicated to Rock and New Wave, Yasushi Ide releases a massive, all-colour, 274-page book featuring newly shot images of 238 posters and flyers spanning the genres of Japanese City Pop, Fusion, and AOR. This book also serves as the official catalogue for the exhibition "Yasushi Ide's Collection of Japanese City Pop & Fusion Posters (1977-1987)." It is positioned as the sequel to the catalogues JAPANESE MUSIC POSTER SCRAP: ROCK and JAPANESE MUSIC POSTER SCRAP: NEW WAVE. The text for the book's obi strip was written by Yukimasa Okumura, a leading Japanese art director and graphic designer renowned for his work on numerous advertising designs and record/CD covers for artists such as YMO, Eiichi Ohtaki, and Tatsuro Yamashita.
